New Investment Projects
MSK Solutions Ltd, through its garment manufacturing division, MSK Apparels Ltd will launch a new project in April 15th, 2009.
The project would be launched in the soon-to-be completed Benjamin William Mkapa Special Economic Zone in Mabibo, Dar es salaam.
MSK Apparels Ltd would be a licenced developer and operator of a manufacturing plant in the Export Processing Zone (EPZ).
The launching of this huge ever project by the company will mark yet another important milestone in the history of the Tanzanian owned and managed company, MSK Solutions Ltd and the textile and garment manufacturing endeavours for Tanzania as a whole.
The first phase of the project would include construction of new modern structures and installing facilities for manufacturing of knit garments, from knitting and dyeing. The factory would produce 10 million garments per year, consume 10 tons of fabric per day, and provide direct employment to 3,650 people and indirect employment to 10,000.
The second, third and fourth phases are meant for expansion of production volumes in the respective stages and the fifth phase for backward integration into a spinning Industry.
